Our proposal
The selected candidate will deal with Consulting, data analysis, and DSS support for national and international clients performing the following tasks:
- Analysis of the client’s optimisation problem and modelling of hypothetical solutions (feasibility analysis and prototyping).
- Client support for deployment of Optit’s solution (collecting, validating, and entering data; training and coaching key users).
- Providing optimisation consulting based on Optit’s solutions.
- Supporting solution development.
- Functional analysis of complex IT solutions.
- Testing and validation of solutions in the development and fine-tuning phases.
Place of work: Bologna.
Profile
Graduates in Economics, Engineering (preferably specialised in Management, Information Technology, or Environmental), Statistical Sciences, Physics, or Mathematics, with final grade above 105/110 (five-year degree).

Requirements
- Knowledge of Decision Support Systems and the field of Operations Research.
- Familiarity/Knowledge/Previous experience in the areas of Environmental waste, Energy, and/or Logistics.
- Basic knowledge of IT, programming, and databases (e.g., able to write simple scripts and structure a data query).
- Availability for domestic and foreign travel.
Experiences abroad will be considered as a plus in the hiring process.
